The Druk Path Trek is a fairly easy trek and anybody can do it due to the relative closeness of the resting points of the trek. The trail takes you through forests of green pine and rhododendrons at altitudes ranging between 2400-4200 m. On the third day hikers will arrive at Jimiling Lake and enjoy its gigantic trout! The numerous temples and dzongs on the way just add to the beauty of this popular trek! As the trek begins in Paro, you will have the opportunity to explore the valley with its many cultural attractions! The trek ends in the capital of Bhutan – Thimphu and you will have the chance to witness the Bhutanese lifestyle in their capital and enjoy its cultural and architectural wonders!
Day 1 :Fly to Paro (2,280m), afternoon sightseeing. Overnight at Hotel
Day 2 :Morning walk to Taktsang monastery (Tiger’s Nest). Overnight at Hotel
Day 3 :Trek from Paro to Jela Dzong. Overnight at tented camp
Day 4 :Trek from Jela Dzong to Jangchublakha. Overnight at tented camp
Day 5 :Trek from Jangchublakha to Jimilangtsho. Overnight at tented camp
Day 6 :Trek from Jimilangtsho to Labana. Overnight at tented camp
Day 7 :Trek from Labana to Thimphu. Overnight at Hotel
Day 8 :Sightseeing in Thimpu and drive to Paro. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 9 :Depart from Paro.
