Sarangkot is a hill that towers Pokhara and the Phewa lake. Except for the many extreme sports such as paragliding and ultra light flight that are available and done from Sarangkot, this hill is a beautiful spot for breathtaking panoramas of the Himalayas with the whole of Pokhara and the Phewa lake right below your feet. You can choose whether you want to observe the sunrise or the sunset, bathing the Himalayan snowy peaks in gold. There is a road to Sarangkot so you can choose whether you want to walk or take a vehicle. We recommend at least walking back. It’s downhill and it’s a wonderful walk!
Dhampus is a small Gurung village located below the Annapurna range. The beauty of this traditional settlement is indescribable. One needs to experience it to know how beautiful it gets over there. Travelers can decide whether they want to walk up to and from Dhampus or take a jeep (or combined). The best thing about this village is that it is not far away from Pokhara and at the same time it lets you experience the traditional way of living under the Himalayas. Join us!
